Volunteers are vital to the mission of Fresh Start Life Recovery & Transitional Program (FSLR&TP).  There are a various volunteer opportunities available for those interested in serving our clients with their time, gifts, and talents.

New Volunteers

FSLR&TP offers new volunteer orientation twice per month for anyone interested in volunteering. During our orientation, volunteers will learn about our mission, our services, and programs that we provide to our clients. Volunteers will also have an opportunity to meet staff members, ask questions, and complete our volunteer application. If you are intersted in volunteering, please email us at:

Community Service Restitution (CSR) Volunteers

CSR volunteers are appointed for community service through a local court and/or attorney. The orientation for CSR volunteers is specalilzed and is a mandatory requirement. Such volunteers must provide supporting court documents and their dates of availability, during their orientation.

Due to the nature of the clients we serve,  FSLR&TP is unable to accomodate volunteers who have been convicted of sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, pandering of prostitution, any of the following that involve children: abuse, endangerment, neglect, pronorgarpy, assault, and any other crimes related to the harm or disenfranchisement of other human beings.

Partnership With FSLR&TP
Partnering with other establishments is of vital importance, in order for FSLR&TP to accomplish its goals. Our organization seeks to partner with establishments that understand and support our vision and mission. As a partner with FSLR&TP, establishments will help to provide empowerment to disadvantaged women and children. We are seeking partners who are willing to assist with grant writing, securing transitional housing, and developing program initiatives. We also desire to partner with social service agencies, churches, ministries, and other community resources that will enrich the lives of our clients. If you, or your organization would like to contribute toward any of these needs, please email our Executive Director, Dr. Tracy Gibson at:, or call our office at 256-542-9580.
